The Willow Street Workshop

New Hampshire always knows how to wear its most fashionable coat of snow.

Do you have your own Island of Misfit Characters? Every once in a while you dust them of and resubmit them to some poor unsuspecting editor or agent? Then the misfits come home again, looking, once again, like they truly belong on the island... I love my little alien baby skateboarders but, alas, I think their story and cute little antics that only I seem to appreciate, will forever remain on the Island of Misfit Characters. Luckily, they are not alone.

Sometimes, we all might benefit from an Angel on our shoulder. This is my little angel snowglobe. I think she is keeping an eye on those teddybears hanging off the back of that rocking horse! Do you have any favorite knick knacks?

Come one, Come all,  to the 173rd Annual Snow Ball!  Gloria will be your hostess.  She is a great listener!

Have you started any December projects? I created several Christmas cards today and bought Christmas stamps. Luckily, my daughter let me know that my face was covered in glitter before I went into the post office.

Won't you join me? I'm working on submitting a few stories today. What are you doing on this fine day?

Welcome to The Willow Street Workshop. Hello! My name is Mary Quite and I am an author and illustrator. I am so glad that you have stopped by my workshop. Sit down, relax, and we can gab away the afternoon. Can I get you a cup of tea or a mug of hot coffee? Would you like a snack? Maybe one of my homemade chocolate chip cookies?
